Reporter Adam Digby of Sydney Weekender had been checking out some NSW Central Coast wineries
including Firescreek Fruit Wines at Holgate, and writes:
"All that wine tasting tired me right out, but luckily I've found a place not too far away to stay for the night ~ An'da'cer House in Terrigal.
This cosy and comfortable little B&B has earned every one of its 4½ stars. There are three suites that are all furnished with an elegant country flavour and come complete with ensuites.
The rooms are fabulous for you and your partner to relax and unwind in. The guest lounge room has its own fireplace for the cooler months and outside there is a solar heated pool for the warmer months.
An outdoor aromatherapy spa is great when it comes to relaxing and the beautiful gardens, set up with secluded corners, are a fantastic place to retreat.
For the food lovers amongst us, prepare for the awesome brekkie. The great thing about breakfast at An'da'cer is that it uses all locally sourced produce. The tomatoes and eggs are from Peats Ridge, the jams are all homemade and the herbs in the scrambled eggs are picked straight from the An'da'cer House garden. Guests can even request special ingredients from Gabby's vegie patch. Keep your eye out for the hot chillis. Gabby tells me some people even want them in their breakfast. She has special guests who come every year and they want chillis in their scrambled eggs. Now that's hot!
So next time you're up around Terrigal, spend the night at An'da'cer House. It's very friendly, very relaxing and with the sounds of bellbirds coming through the trees, you may never want to leave."
